You may not be familiar with the R-Vision company, but chances are you’ve heard of the Trail-Lite brand, one of R-Vision’s most popular offerings. In less than 10 years, the R-Vision company has come a long way. They produced their first light-weight travel trailer in 1997, and quickly expanded to their current model line-up today, which includes seven models of travel trailers, four models of fifth-wheel, two towable SURVs, four Class C motorhomes (two are called “B-Plus”), and two Class A motorhomes.

R-Vision has a number of innovative features on their towables, such as cost-effective expandable tent rooms or traditional slideouts, or its high-ground-clearance Bantam Flier model that is perfect for back-country adventures. The 23-ft. “B-Plus” motorhomes have the maneuverability and better fuel economy of a Class B, along with smooth, aerodynamic fiberglass skins, but have the dual rear wheels and many amenities commonly found in a Class C.

Based in Elkhart, Indiana, with an additional production facility in Warsaw, Indiana, the R-Vision company was acquired by Monaco Coach Corporation for a reported $60 million in 2005. R-Vision continues to sell its own products, but has also worked with Monaco on development of a new line of Dodge-brand towable RVs – the first auto manufacturer to license its name for branded RV products.
